At the nearby water tanks for the camp, this slender mongoose silhouetted:

Then I decided to go around Shabeni for a change!

It really is spectacular, especially in the setting light...

It is normally deserted, this narrow winding road, but suddenly....

The rest of the drive was uneventful, just a sunset shot at one of the Faai crossings.

And next morning home with my Mommy!

All those little roads around Pretoriuskop are nice but not very busy with animals. Maybe because of all the koppies close to the roads, so nowhere to escape

The nyalas are such pretty antelopes.

Nice to see a slender mongoose, they are not very common.

Momprins and I returned in May last year!

As we got to our beloved picnic breakfast spot at Albasini, much to our shock it was occupied by a squad of Working For Water workers...

But we squeezed in on one end, determined not to be outdone!

Momprins' Merc, Mercprins for short, still going strong!

And the classic picnic!

They need some Working On Grasscutting people there...
