Re: Richprins' Escapades to Marloth
Thanks for the info, Lis!
Pumbaa!
On the upper road behind the house some damage to be seen at the stream crossing...it is the same stream that features in all the Walks, meandering all over the place for kilometres!
Sign of that February's floods!
A pretty rock:
And construction continuing at Mr Van Wyk's house...

Re: Richprins' Escapades to Marloth
The Vanwykshout we had planted the year before was still alive!
And back at base camp the beverages have changed a bit with the addition of Baby Dwarf 2.0!
Ahhh...my favourite view!
And a visitor, which I think is a male?

Who knows For sure it's a warthog
It's always a satisfaction to see the growth over time of something that you (Dwarf) have (has) planted
Baby Dwarf must be growing
There is gold in the rocks
Van Wyk's house looks biiig

Here is the other half of the warthog, rolling its eyes!
Building continuing next door...almost finished...
It was incredibly humid that afternoon, so much so that I even took a rare shower, my first at Marloth!
Power out as a huge thunderstorm eventually hit, not sure if it is loadshedding?
No braai!

Next morning, the bird bath was full!
And off for A Walk of course, this wet fellow with birds!
Water water everywhere...
And good morning from this fellow:

Nice atmosphere with candlelight but rather limiting in other respects
There are almost always some kind of animals on a walk in Marloth

Someone else was also planting trees, far more advanced than our efforts!
A beautifully-coloured dungbeetle!
These helmetshrikes don't sit still!
Some interesting large fungi!
