If you look at the pictures you can actually see that a few of them are re- grown horns from de- horned rhinos.
So de- horning is also a non option to keep our rhinos safe.

The conviction rate is very low, compared to the arrest rate, but lately I think they are nabbing bigger fish on the ground!

3 suspected rhino poachers appear
2013-01-17 18:24
Johannesburg - Three suspected rhino poachers charged with possessing an unlicensed firearm and ammunition appeared in the Phalaborwa Magistrate's Court on Thursday, Limpopo police said.
Thomas Mogalaka, 32, and Madala Ndlovu, 20, were granted bail of R1 000 each.
However, Boy Mahlangu, 43, was denied bail and remained in custody, as his citizenship had yet to be verified, said police spokesperson Ronel Otto.
She said more charges could be added as investigations continued.
"...The rhino poaching charges were not added, because no rhino was shot and dehorned."
They were arrested on Tuesday by police who set up roadblocks in the Majeje area, near Phalaborwa, after a tip-off.
Police searched the their Toyota Corolla and found a .303 hunting rifle with ammunition, a silencer, and an axe.

Our injustice system has no flaws, it is perfect!!

Can these donkeys that investigate and enforce the law not maybe use their grey matter in a situation like this. The chops in charge play by the book, and there is no room for initiative what so ever.
