If you turn these figures into facts it means that every 11 hours a Rhino got poached since the beginning of this year. O/

That is much hugher than the averadge of last year.

What are you all going to do about it Zuma, Mabunda etc.?

I will say it again and again - forget the hotels at Malelane and Skukuza and all the fancy plans - put that fence up between us and Mozambique and patrol it! Stop our soldiers in the SANDF doing overseas work and if need be bring them all on board to surround every single large game reserve. Talk is cheap and we are over hearing of meetings and MOUs - the time to put something into action is NOW before its too late! I still do not believe that Sanparks are taking the inside collusion factor seriously enough and this needs to be addressed with immediate effect!

Very soon the Rhino numbers will be so low SANParks will be able to afford to post a permanent ranger to watch over each individual rhino.

(And even then I have my doubts)

I saw a good bumper sticker recently... "The dried testicles of Rhino Poachers can cure AIDS!"

(Maybe we should spread the word)
