Lovely winter colours (even though it is summer). [O]

There seem to be lots of lion-coloured rocks and antheaps too, must be a nightmare, Peej! lol

As if those wildebeest aren't ugly enough! 0*\ lol

Great to see some different animals like blesboks and black wildebeests and also old friends like Roy and Nomad ^Q^ ^Q^

It still looks very dry up there :-(

Yeah pretty much any animal except the wildebeest blends in to the park landscape like you wouldn't believe 0*\ 0*\
Good test of the eyes lol

Heading back to camp we went past the lions again but they were more flat out than ever. Still, it was a highlight to see them and we never had more than 2 other cars with us at the sighting O\/

Image

Back down on Ubejane loop we caught sight of some scurrying movement which turned out to be a small meerkat family O:V

Image

At the exit of the loop a kudu was braving some thorns... the price you pay for a meal I guess

Image

Just before you get to camp, they have introduced a new waterhole since our last visit called Monkeyland. It's a good spot to check for visitors coming in for a drink and we had a nice herd of buffalo move in whilst we were checking it out \O

Image

That rounded off our day nicely... it was time to braai and enjoy the virtually empty campsite and stunning sunset O:V

WOW, that must have been a nice feeling to have the camp site virtually for yourselves.
Hope you didn't feel lonely there lol

Great to see Roy and Nomad again. For you that is. Me, they never graced me with their presence in Addo,
so I might have to trek to Mountain Zebra for another chance. And looking at them, I might not want to
wait for too much longer. They do look a bit older by now and certainly had their share of fights, judging
by their scars. O**

Never seen little blesboks. Very cute they are :-0
