Thats right RP, the first photo was taken in winter in 2018 and the second was taken last winter. Sardines were very scarce last year.

Good evening X#X

Unfortunately the whales are only passing in winter, when I never come

RP, there is normally about 1 train a day that collects stone from a mine near Port Shepstone. Obviously no trains are running here during lockdown. The line was electrified with overhead wires but these were removed as lengths of the cables were being stolen continuously and goods coaches are now hauled by diesel locomotives.

Hi all 0/* , here are a few photos of strange ships carrying strange items that sail past here quite often. You will notice what appears to be an illegal Asian trawler in front of the large ship in the first photo.

Absolutely Flutts, water balast in the ships hulls which are carrying the strange tower type loads keep the ships upright. I am always amazed that they do not capsize, especially in strong winds and rough seas as in the photos.

One of those ships looks as if it has drilling gear onboard :-?

Two has the right cranes to move containers -O-

Don't know about the last one, which is the first one ;-)
