Is this a juvenile black-chested snake-eagle? KTP

Looks more like a juvenile Jackal Buzzard.

Dewi wrote: Fri Dec 22, 2017 4:10 pm You cannot see the rump in this photo - the white areas are the under-tail coverts.
Juvenile Jackal Buzzards have paler eyes. B-ch s-eagles have much yellower eyes. They also have larger, squarer heads. \O

Not sure what this is, thought it was a Juvenile Gabar Goshawk but not sure. Saw it on new road near Ngotso in Kruger.

On other pics it looks like a pale/light yellow eye.

We saw this one on the S28 in February 2018 in Kruger. Any idea?

I thought this was a Steppe Buzzard, but now some people have said Tawny Eagle and others say Wahlbergs. 0*\ From what I remember this was much smaller than either of those. -O-

I am 96% sure that it's a steppe buzzard \O Which of course does not mean that it is O**

Agreed! They come in various colour schemes and seem to like sitting in the foliage? -O-

Wahlberg's or lesser spotted eagle? I think the former as the eye looks dark -O- On the other hand, the tail looks more like the lesser spotted one's and also the design of the feathers 0*\
