Yep, it's a orb web spider as Lisbeth said and on the web there is a stabilimentum with garbage lined up ^Q^

See, I’m learning something already! O/\

I had no idea about that orb-web spider that sometimes utilizes camouflage in its web. It appears they use it to disguise their real position in the web. -O-
I suppose, broadly speaking, a lot of spiders would qualify if, after eating, they leave the remnants in their web. -O-

It’s not a “perfect” fit for the idea of something eating, then gathering up the leftovers/disposable inedible parts, and toting them away, but is worth posting a pic or more and a brief explanation. Ya’ll can do that if you’d like too, please. O0

My critter is an insect, with the earlier hint to its common name.

There are several ants that store their garbage in underground dumps or chambers :-?

BIG hints: it's the larvae of an insect, and the first word in its common name is "Trash" ;-)
