The next morning we left at just after gate opening two other cars left ahead of us and we went to the dirt side road while they went on the tar .We headed to the Shitlhave Dam but there was nothing so we carried on .Not far from the dam we found the other two vehicles that left ahead of us they had found these doggies .

We believe this one was the one that was report the month previous with a very bad snare injury around its neck .You could clearly see the scarring around the neck .

Image

It also tended to stay away from the youngsters who were playing .

We carried on and drove the S11 .On the boulders by the Plaque we found the lookout
Image

Image

After the loop we turned to head back to camp to pack and have breakfast before heading to crock bridge for the night . Not far along the H1 I spotted spots through the bushes low down these were grey spots for a change .

We had a quiet drive back to camp the Dogs had vanished into the bushes already by the time we got back to where they had been .We had breakfast and packed the car .

 it was sitting on the edge of a tiny crack but not too worried. There were some very young youngsters playing in a tree but we did not get any pics but was great fun to watch as they played tag and these others were on lookout duty while they played .

We have seen a few Lions over the years on roads around camp but not yet seen any Sable so maybe one trip we should travel together ..0..

After leaving camp I managed to find an Iconic Kruger summer song bird
Image

We went down the H2 to Afsaal and did not see anything the entire road :-?

After a brief stop at the very quiet afsaal (during open week) :-? We went past Biyamiti and only found this little fellow
Image

It was a little bit grey and overcast .
Image

SO found a Korhaan
Image

On the S21 we found a Klipsringer on the ground
Image

And a breeding herd with a Tiny baby crossed ahead of us
Image

We stopped in at Lower Sabie and then went to the Bridge where we found the usual suspects
Image

Image

Image

It was starting to rain a bit harder so we decided to stay on the Tar to Croc Bridge ,some more Ellies crossed in the rain
Image

At Gezantombi dam some Hippos were just leaving the water

Image

Carrying on to camp we found some very wet Jackals we believe to be Side Stripped -O-
Image

We arrived at camp just after 2 and checked in to our unit .

Some really wonderful shots you took! Too many to list them all, but the ducks, giraffes in the evening light, wild dogs, teeny Ellie, and Kingfisher are all lovely sightings. 0() 0()

Settling in to camp relatives from Pretoriuskop welcoming party were there to meet us
Image

A family of Banded Mongeese were also there when we arrived
Image

Image

Image

We went out for an afternoon drive .
Our first sighting was some rude birds telling us what to do .
Image

This fellow was not happy about the weather.
Image

And had an interesting partner on the tree.
Image

Image

The Burchell's coucal wasn't too happy either
Image

This big Ellie did not seem to mind it
Image

This Hyena was a bit camera shy and ran off the road as we caught up to it
Image

One of the main reasons for staying at Croc bridge is that we had not stayed there for years since we sold the caravan and SO was hoping to see the Super mom Cheetah . We were running out of time and light with about 10 minutes to gate closing and came across a traffic Jam . What is it .Oh there in the distance is a Cheetah .We managed to get a few Pics with the ISO pumped to max so they not the greatest pic but it is some record of the sighting .
Image

Image

We stayed as long as possible the GPS was showing arrive at the camp gate with no time to spare so we left and made it with under a minute to spare ..
