Survey #80: Understanding Kruger Park Spa Facility Preferences
SANParks has received numerous requests to expand activity offerings in National Parks. In light of this, SANParks is considering a spa facility in the Skukuza Rest Camp in the Kruger National Park. This will provide visitors to Kruger National Park with the opportunity to participate in a relaxing and healing activity in South Africa’s premier national park. In order to gain a better understanding of customers preferences, SANParks requests your participation in a 10 minute
survey to inform management of the optimal spa facility.

I think it is linked to the Skuks hotel anyway...just window-dressing.
Governments generally ignore internet petitions on the grounds that they are anonymous and can be manipulated.....this not even remotely admissable!

Anyway....
Cheerleaders may say the Spa is ok, as it adds to the financial benefit of a cash-starved SANParks, but the bottom line is one needs some sort of proof of this, IMO.
How can one start the process, and do a survey afterwards?
How can one spend millions creating a new service, without telling us by when exactly it will regenerate those millions? Doesn't make sense?
And this is taxpayer money, not private developers.

The problem I have here is similar to your concerns RP. Why start the process and then at a later date have a survey, so in other words the research hasn’t been done to see if it will be a success and to top it off use tax payers money.
There’s also a definite possibility that this is linked to the Skukuza hotel and this is just smoke and mirrors. The hotel is to have a lengthy swimming pool and a gym, but someone forgot the Spa
A Spa definitely isn’t my cup of tea in or out of Kruger and I’m fairly certain that it isn’t in the minds of most visiting Kruger, but in the city of Skukuza it’s not going to really ruin the park.
