Accommodation for three in KNP

I'm planning to retire next year and we have considered a holiday in October. I've been in the KNP then but not my wife. However, my son will be home from working in South Korea for the last four years and I know my wife will want to give him the chance to come. He's in his 30s but she still sees the little boy. I would like to spend as much time in the Kruger as possible but if we have to get a 2 bed cottage or two bungalows, then it starts to get expensive. Aside from camping, are there any alternatives?

Hey rayb 0/*

Should this say 2 bedroom cottages? I assume that you don't all want to sleep in the same room as there are plenty BD3 options?

Huts and safari tents are cheap, but communal toilets

Book a camping site for your son and a bungalow for yourself =O: ;-)

Why not all share a bungalow? My son and I go with my dad and we always get the 3-bed bungalows...works perfectly. \O

It's a cost thing I'm afraid. With interest rates so low, we are a bit impoverished :(

How about a 4-bed safari tent with communal ablutions...works out much cheaper than the bungalows.

I would imagine the 3 bed units (as mentioned above) would be a cheaper option.

Have you phoned, SANP to enquire?
And the website also has all the costs of the units.
