But once they have passed and the sun peeks through again,
the park is painted in the most surreal colours.

October is close to the end of the dry season.
However, it's amazing how differently the park can look in the same month in consecutive years.

Sandstorms are quite normal in October, I have yet to experience one in late summer.

Also, due to the lack of rain in October(usually) the colours in KTP
are not as bright and captivating as they are in the rainy season.
They are still beautiful, mind you, but not as mind blowing. ;-)
