Indeed I am!

But i think the Avensis probably wins.
One thing influencing me is that it is much cheaper. And since it sounds as if both cars are good, it is the deciding factor.

Dzombo, take the cheaper one....after all you are not going to KTP and in Kruger anything goes ;-) \O

Lis, yup I think I am going to \O

I really don't think I am getting that much extra by spending the extra money on the "proper" 4x4.

No my family was here from NL and had a Avanza, just managed to fit 4 people and baggage.

look at a verso or similar.

try firstcarrental.co.za their rates seem to be the best around

they have the nissan xtrail type k

DZ, the xtrail is a nice vehicle, will give you better ground clearance then the dihatsu and the toyota

Just had a look on the website.

Not cheap! Is over R1,200 per day! Gulp.
But it does seem a nice vehicle to drive.

Dzombo, all the big companies are expensive. Try the local South African ones. "Driveafrica" for instance.
