you spoke to me about the Caracal.... but it's very rare to find the same predator, at the same place, a day after... so I drove the dunes road
they spoke about a Springbok (lamb Springbok)... and have to watch my pictures again

Easter was from 29 March to 1 April and the time Mel saw her caracal fits in perfectly. Jaap's post was made on the 3 April, but the photo might have been taken earlier.

2 babies Springboks and a Steenbok
the Steenbok is not so white Inside the lesg



legs of the prey, foot seems to be a little bit sharp/long..... the head..... and one colors hairs


Inside hind leg, not so much white

Caracal 40/45 cm

what do you think ???? Springbok or Steenbok

Springbok legs would be more light in colour and the head does not look like Springbok
