We found these four cheetah on the S128 in October 2010. It was boiling hot and they were huddled under the only shady tree in the area.
We left them after about an hour and went back to Lower Sabie to fetch my uncle and his SO who were out from the UK on there first visit to Kruger. Thank goodness the cheetah were still there when we got back!
Great shighting of the cheetah Flutts and what a great surprise it must have been for your family form the UK and to top it all it was their first visit to KNP
Most of us have mistaken rocks, shady spots under trees or a dead tree trunk for some sort of animal mostly a predator
Great was my surprise when a certain dead tree trunk suddenly came to life and casually strolled across the road right in front of my eyes
Note the zebras in the background at Moonshine dam
piggies munching away at the greenery
A much drier Moonshine dam in June 2013 than during March 2012
about the Gabar Goshawk I have approximately the same, also in the S128
