Looks fine, okie!
The powerline reminds me of a big lion/giraffe kill we watched for days there, ironically!
Must go and scan some hard copies!
The powerline comes all the way from Satara and what not, and also provides a patrol road. These powerlines are sunk underground once they are within tourist visibility from virtually all Kruger's camps, so as not to be an eyesore, and that works very well!

That weir is great, and has a little loop viewpoint attached! I've seen the hippo "face to face" peeking over the weir, for example.
Conversely, the little loop has produced amazing sightings, as seen! It get's dry fast sometimes, though...there was a whole shebang about various animals including Civet eating dried up barbel there, elsewhere, for example! Also leopard pottering around?

And this little family of Wooly necked storks was seen on the road-side opposite the weir.

Interesting points you mention RP ,I am still puzzle i.r.o. game movement in that area. Sometimes it is if there is more game than the ones that you see.We drove that road a lot because we stay at Balule I ,am always looking at spoor in the roads and that let me believe there is much more than what meet the eye.(sic!)
What is interesting about the postings is the many different " big " birds.

There has been an extended wet decade, dup, so game can hang around the streams more?
