Saw some amazing videos on Facebook where other elephants have been visiting Mavuso's body, sniffing and touching him.
I can't share them but take a look at Myer Pincus' post on Pilanesberg - Gem in the North West.

Brought to the park 22 years ago in 1998 from KNP, Pilane was 1 of 6 Kruger bulls, to take care of young, roque, aggressive and out of control rhino killing adolescent bulls
I have never heard about this before

I have never heard about this before
The young bulls went out of control due to the lack of adult oversight and turned aggressive and killed several rhino. That's why some senior bulls were introduced.
