It's not bad from 22 to the loo and it has the best view

CTT4 Tent, No. 22

This tent has a clear view of the river and just a short walk to the ablutions. ;-)

Visited Tamboti on 21 & 22 July

Although we didn't have the best sightings in the area - O/ O/ O/ S106 detour a nightmare, so corrugated and you have delivery trucks speeding all the way, and the construction on the H7 breach has not started when we visited

We still had the best time in this camp, it was one of my brother's first time to this gem definitly not the last I'm sure

We slept in nr. 22 as requested, thanks Sanparks O0

It was amazing to see how the view changed from the tent, where there was a bit of water a year ago, it's now all covered in a flat sand bed
Another surprise - baboon/badger/mongoose /leopard O** proof dustbins!!!!
Well done Sanparks again ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^ about time I would say (sorry if previously mentioned in this thread)

The beaver was extremely upset when he saw the dustbins - no visit by the badger this year or so he thought, but that was not the case. We got a visit from all the locals, the genet and the badger dashed under the tent searching for scraps.

We quickly saw why all the locals were hanging around in the area, our neighbours were feeding them    and they tried their luck at our tent, they did not succeed off course

I would HIGHLY recommend taking a good spotlight to this camp. This year we did exactly just that and on both nights we saw 2 jackal patrolling the fence, bush babies and on the last night a hyena, so special! Luckily on the other side of the fence O-/

The ablution facilities EXTREMELY clean as usual, but there were still a fair amount of litter scattered in the bushes around our tent -O- My only explanation that all the tents don't have the baboon proof dustbins installed yet, but other than that a great experience again

Thanks Tamboti! O0
