Just leave that forest
It can probably look after itself, without input, better than we
humans can with all natural resources at hand!

Re: Logging in the Garden Route National Park
Flutts, What are we protecting or talking about?
The protagonists one step ahead would be your
downfall so to speak. Where there be smoke so
will there be fire!!
Contractors were called at the harvesting of indigenous
forestry by .gov, if I am not wrong? So therefore I am
suspicious. It is my democratic right in these times.
I also mentioned it might be spam but who cares!!!

I think it would be too difficult to understand, but I am sure that it's a compliment :D

Re: Logging in the Garden Route National Park
Hey Flutts, barring one, and he did not know, I have yet to meet
my first forum member. I don'y know people and their endeavors
at all.
I react to comment as I read it, same as hearing it face to face.
Over the years some folk have impressed me. I sometimes sit
and ponder why these folks do what they do because experience
tells me there will be little physical remuneration however plenty
moral satisfaction at what they do. This crowd(if at all they will
amount to that) will hardly be appreciated if at all seen.
That is to say, in society at large!!
South Africa probably possesses the largest natural heritage to
any country in the world. Having said this it is not to boast but
rather to point out that it makes supervision and protection of
this unique circumstance very difficult to protect and manage.
And yet some people set themselves aside and fling their selves
into a scenario with all their heart and bone.
I don't know the authenticity behind most of these posts but take
for granted that it was made public for us, you and me to absorb.
Like this thread there is a sense of urgency!!!
To be at the helm of wildlife protection initiatives would, lets face
it, it be the least appreciated of all social programs, supported by
.gov!
So to me a name heard or read seems to stick, maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe I got the cat by the tail!!??, but so what, it was well meant.

Re: Logging in the Garden Route National Park
H.e., That's exactly why we are here (Africa Wild)!! to try and make people listen to the voice of help that we are crying out to the South African people to help saving your natural inheritance, before people without scruples ruins it all. It all starts with a tree and ends up with a whole forest disappearing and the same goes for the rest of the National Parks!!!!!
