On the way back to Kalahari Tented Camp we saw 4 cheetah just north of Craig Lockhrdt. They were far from the road and when we got there, they got up and moved walked further away 0*\

Duke wrote:I make it four males from what we saw. Not Botham, Sobers, Kallis and Kapil? Look smallish for them. Looked for them for the rest of our stay on this side but they just vanished -O-
Unfortunately not the Musketeers. That was my first hunch and I checked it out. Afterwards AstroMatt received a couple of photos from someone else and it could be that there is a lady among them. At least we weren't able to make out any visibles on one of the bums. lol

Day 3 - 19 October 2014: Kalahari Tented Camp

We were out at gate opening time and it was a quiet morning for mammals. Well all the waterholers except Craig Lockhardt were dry. We did get some nice birdies though. Sharifa captured this sequence of a LBR bringing food for his partner and you can see her singing in the last photo :-)

That afternoon most people were parked off at Craig Lockhardt as it was the one watewrhole in the area that was not dry. We decided to drive slowly back to Tented camp and were rewarded with a Cape Fox with five cubs  O:V Could not get all 5 together. No  Lis, nan, Mel, you cannot have one
When we got there she was nursing a couple of them. But they scattered when we got there. We parked off and were rewarded with some great cub action
