Our doggie luck has increased in the past years, about time I would say, so I am extremely grateful
Dec 2011 Skukuza pack - firts sighting of the day, not even 1 km out of camp very early, you can actually see the famous big board at the 4 way intersection, we couldn't believe our luck

Afsaal pack - also spotted regularly in the vicinity of Afsaal. Surprised by a oppurtunistic hyena, chased the scavenger away.

Rescue of a snared African Wild Dog in Kruger National Park
from Parker Scott Media
3-min clip of the rescue of a snared African Wild Dog (Lycaon pictus) in the south of the Kruger National Park.
The Endangered Wildlife Trust (The EWT - ewt.org.za) is in the middle of a five-year monitoring project on the Kruger Wild Dogs, which are believed to only number around 130… so every dog lost speeds up their decline rapidly… hence the urgency in this video to find the snared dog by Grant Beverley, The EWT's field researcher on the KNP Wild Dog project and SANParks vet Dr. Peter Buss.
