Vutomi dam is scheduled for closure, removal and rehabilitation. But this will only happen once an alternative, natural water-point has been found in the area, and only after 2015.

Will continue waterhole closure discussion on another thread once we have more feedback!
A nice lion encounter end last year:
The first view just to the south of the actual Dam!
And a female strolls across the road...it was very overcast, so tough pics...
And drinks!
The small pride was eating a kudu:
But the one female was very apprehensive...probably cubs nearby?
And the lady does her thing in the riverbed...you can see the windmill adjacent to the dam in the background!

A big square... about 80 Km... included, dams, water holes and a big tree
there is a lot of squares in this part of Kruger, when we stay at Talamati
is that ok for you
