when we reached some locked and deserted houses, we found
there were about 10 white storks around but the best sighting was around the next corner ...

we finally were back to civilization and met my friends from Upington again
and in town (I think it was Phuthaditjaba) we saw some very pretty houses

we turned on the GPS again and this time we typed in Glen Reenen rest camp. Soon we were back in the park and this time we went straight

we arrived at reception at about 3 pm. The lady there was very helpful in transferring our credit and checking us in. On the way out of camp we saw this bird and I am about sure that it was the second bird from my wish list, the bearded vulture
on the way to our unit we saw a rock kestrel

my SO unloaded the car while I was putting the food away. When I went out again to pick up more luggage, he told me that he could not move. Somehow he had twisted his back. Nevertheless, after some rest, we went on an afternoon drive on the oribi loop.
