We also found that the one we stayed in , in August , to be in rather poor condition
But that is a general problem with tented accommodations in Sanparks -- canvas fabric do not last in the harsh African conditions
The original cost is relatively cheap , and lucrative , being very popular , especially with overseas visitors who want to have " safari-like experiences " , but maintenance and replacement costs are very high

I do not like the tents. Too hot in summer and too cold in winter and the ones I have seen in Sanparks look nothing like real safari tents.

Thank you for your email regarding Kalahari Tent Camp . Kindly be assured that management take all service related issues into consideration and we will do everything to ensure that all matters raised are immediately attended and addressed. We further would like to thank you for bringing this issue to our attention and allowing us an opportunity to rectify it.
Work has already started – halted due to school holidays – on KTC . The first 10 roofs have been repaired and as of 15 Jan 2018 – 15 June 2018 three tents have been withdrawn in order for further repairs to be undertaken .
We apologise for any inconvenience caused .
