Thanks everyone for the interest shown.

My friend in Botswana, a local safari lodge owner, decided we need to go spend a night at Nxai Pan.
We loaded a tent and off we went.... Without ice for our beers !! O/

On arrival, after cruising the supposedly bad roads we found 14 lions just outside the campsite. We decided to pitch the tent quick and to the local waterhole, for an afternoon in the sun, sipping whilst watching the game coming to the waterhole.

It was enjoyable to say the least. Night was waiting for us so we headed back to the tent.

Lisbeth , patience was rewarded as we had two other vehicles come and go, but we got the cheetah.
