Re: Your Most Embarrasing Moment
A few years ago we were camping in Pretoriuskop, after dinner on our last night there,LO and I went to do the dishes, we met a group of dutch tourists and the dishes took more than 2 hours to finish (because of all the chatting),we left SO at the camp, he has a little too much to drink and decides to come and find us, he eventually finds us and we all walk back to the campsite together, on the way back he starts telling us that he should never have spent all his hard earned money on a specific brand of torch, because it is rubbish as it is not working and when he gets back to Jhb he is going to write a letter to complain and tell them that the torch is useless, LO takes the torch and she says to me that it is working,he was holding the torch the wrong way around all the time (thanks to a certain kind of fermented grape).

Re: Your Most Embarrasing Moment
I heard a story of an incident many years back about an enebriated fellow who went to the gents and returned and sat down and relaxed at the wrong campsite ...
Re: Your Most.......Moments in the Wild
I have quite an embarrassing one!!
A couple of years ago my mom, my 2 friends, their mother (who is friends with my mom) and I went to the Pilansberg for a day and while driving on a narrow sand road a huge 4X4 came speeding toward us and we were forced to move over, and before we knew it our left front wheel was in a huge warthog hole!!! No matter how hard we tried to reverse the car out it just wouldn't budge!!! Thankfully a bakkie came by that conveniently had a rope to pull us out with and after hard work and sweat our car was pulled out the hole!! I am sure that whatever warthog was down there didn't enjoy the experience - I know we didn't!!
