Saturday 14th April 2018

The morning drive was up the H4-2 to Lower Sabie, this was one of those times when the weather turns and all goes quiet.

On the way back to Croc bridge we spotted the cheetah from the day before.

Saturday 14th April 2018 - Continued

As the H4-2 had not worked, we too the S25 for the afternoon drive. Before the S25 turn off, we spotted a pride of lions in the distance.

We followed them for a while hoping they would cross the S25, but they turned back towards the river and disappeared in the Hippo Pools direction.

An old Elephant carcass in the river bed just before the S108 junction with the S25. We were at least 100 meters away but the smell was too bad to stay for long.

An Ellie roadblock near the end of the S25. It was a long drive with very few sightings, we hoped for a better day tomorrow
