So after our quick stop we went over the Lower Sabie bridge .
As we we watching a Hippo popped up and started watching us ...
A smaller croc was on a sand bank
and just as we were about to leave the other side of the bridge a little birdy caught my eye one of my favorites ...
it was just in the wrong position to get a clear pic without a branch .
but still lovely to see .
Just after the bridge we found a hidden Ellie and stopped to watch .Another traveler from the other side was not patient to stop and the Ellie gave a little mock charge causing the driver to have a mock heart attack .

Nice, Rog!
Those kingfishers always find a leaf to hide behind!
Lots of water!

So after the bridge we drove the entire S29 and back down the H10 to the bridge and we saw .....

nothing .
Back at the bridge we found this bird
We decided to go down the H4 and head towards Mpondo dam .
Along the Sabie river we found .
Just after the H5tornoff we found a Giraffe that was getting the full bird treatment ...
And another one that seemed to had recovered from some injuries to its ears ...
A little further along a line of Ellies crossed over the road in age order .
We passed some youngsters in a car who flagged us down and asked for directions to Lower Sabie

who could get lost in South Kruger

At Mpondo we were surrounded by some muggers but we refused to give in to their demands
There was literally nothing else active at the dam so we left to go to croc bridge for a break ...
