A Spotty Flutter

When we got back to camp, a big storm broke.

For our afternoon drive we headed down the H6, onto the S41 and back on the S100 but didn't have any major sightings.

Interesting markings on this kudu.

That night I took a pic of the Brat to add to my collection of him in Satara over the years.

We did see hyenas and jackal at the fence but no honey badgers or AWC.

Nice that you have some history pics of Brat at Satara. My brother has the same, but with the kudu statue at Skukuza. I wish that I had thought of something similar with our kids.

The next morning we packed up to move to Skukuza. We didn't want to go down the H1-3 because of all the burning, so we decided to do the S100, then take the S37, H1-2, H10, then onto the S128, S30 and H4-1.

Once again the S100 was quiet, with only a few birds to entertain us.

Wahlbergs, I think.

The S37 was also quiet except for this jackal. He could obviously hear something in the grass/soil and was listening and staring intently.
