I uploaded the Latest version of Photoshop yesterday and there is a new AI Denoise function which neutralises the need for a 3rd Party Topaz Denoise type software I was considering for reducing Noise on typically High ISO Milky Way Photography.. WOW it makes 4000 ISO look like 120 ISO !!!.Basically clean of noise >> SO HAPPY Pic taken in Punda Maria campsite on a late winters night. I am also thrilled at the performance of the Lens I use for Milky Way photography namely the Z Nikon 20mm f1.8 S Lens . The Stars on the corners are round pin pricks and not elongated stars like other lenses I have seen used >> Thank you Nikon NEEDS A CLICK

The waterhole at the hide at Punda has been broken and empty for some weeks now. Of concern is a fb post today by what seems to be a staff member that work has not even begun yet to fix it.

Punda Maria Rest Camp waterhole:

The waterhole needed to be closed and reconstructed. This to make it more ecologically friendly and prevent any further loss of animals due to being stuck in the mud at the waterhole.
This is a long process that involves drying out the area, rehabilitation and then the construction of a concrete waterhole with a control value on the pump to prevent water overflow.
The final result will be well worth the time it is taking, not only for guests to the camp, but for the environment. It is hoped by the dry season the process will be complete.
