Kudu

Despite kudu being quite a common sight in Addo, I'm always pleased to come across them. The big ears, eyes (and horns for the boys) are just so photogenic. I also think that they have become a bit less shy in the park. Recently there have been times when I've seen them right out in the open mid-morning rather than hiding away in the bushes :-0

By my own admission I have a lot to learn when it comes to birds of southern Africa. Addo has a fair share of birds - but of course less raptors than places like Kruger & KTP. Here's a selection of some that I've spotted.
