15 August - Day 3:

We booked a Sunset drive for 16:30 today so we had to get our routes and time perfect.......question is did we :hmz: :hmz:

Our route will be to Crocbridge, then to Berg en Dal via S 25 and back to Lower Sabie

First up a hyena

Then Rooikat's biggest nightmare almost came true on the S 25  ....being trampled by a giant Ellie bull
This Ellie and it's family was grazing calmly on the trees and things when this bull decided he did not like the way we where looking at them so he charged us and missed us by very little and he then got a cloud of diesel smoke and dust as we sped away  0- O-/

He still wasn't happy and charged a H 1 bus and all the cars behind us had to reverse till he calmed down and disappeared into the bush, here are some pics 0-

Day 3 will continue.....

Take Rooikat to Addo for him to learn to appreciate the ellies ..0.. Much more placid there :-)

Nice, harry! X#X

You do travel far!

Wonder if it's the same ellie that tumbled a tourist on the S-25 years ago?

I really don't like tents 0- O/ , when we started camping with our caravan we pitched the full tent once and then I sold it when we got back home O** :o0ps: and then just used the rally tent and add a room for the kids O:V
