I doubt if anyone "seeks sensation by running to newspapers" regarding Kruger problems? :-?

At the Shangoni meet I did mention this new trend! This in support
of a fellow IAP,,..I was in the throws of deliberating when all jumped
up to leave the premises for security reasons. Blake Schraader prompting!!

This new tendency of block booking can legally be seen in totally different
light other than be the same as dedicated family camper without any ulterior
motives

This dude, up above, making good use of ignorance, while the going be good!!
He currently is creating and exploiting business practice way out of line!!
Should these sites be up for exploitation, like the dude is doing, then
Sanparks will be obligated to do so on a tender basis!!!

The PDZ connecting to society, playing out,..????

This reeks with error of a higher order<<<

Ja..it is probably illegal, IMO, using state land for commercial activity without compensation...

The spaces are most likely booked for the whole year and often standing empty. I don't know if it is legal, but it is certainly fishy :-?

Chalets expire a month before confirmation, with full loss of payment, and become available to public.

This is the response I have received.

We are aware of the operators that have booked and taken up campsites at Pretoriuskop. Bookings open 11 months in advance and current policy allows anyone to make a booking for any period of time (within the period bookable in advance). Anyone can book any number of sites and occupy them on a first-come-first-served basis, and may continue to occupy such site as long as they have booked and paid accordingly. SANParks is considering a separate Group Camp Site, away from the traditional camping area in order that possible disturbances from groups are mitigated.

So you can book accomodation, improve on it and then sell it on at 15x the price paid, and also offer guided drives in direct competition to SANParks without coming through the gate where I am sure they keep a record of numbers on OSV's for payment.
