It was f-ing dry and hot, in case I haven't said that yet, hence the title of the story! The aminals were really concentrated at the water, with a picturebook quality!





This giraffe baby was all alone?



And at the Letaba river it was most shenic!




The queleas were STILL around....




They are obviously impossible to photograph, but one can get an idea of the amazing flying symmetry of a big flock!





They also make a big "whirrr" noise when they fly!

That first pic with all the animals around the river is very nice!

Poor giraffe...hope it found its mother.

It didn't seem stressed, Flutts...the rest were probably down at the water! This is the tar road from Phala to Mopani, btw.
