Did I say Boyela is the best venue to see the wild and elusive Eland ..They dont need to drink from ground water sources but if its near their route they will indulge

Yes the Boyela Mega Pride puts the Satara /Gudzane Mega Pride to shame size wise

Another Eland Pic at Boyela ...In the 2 weeks we camped at Shingwedzi I went straight there every morning and got them twice @ 08h30

These are the Livingstones Eland different from the Cape eland found in the E Cape and Drakensberg

Nkaya Pan is my favorite watering point in the Satara area ..Light behind you in the early morning and good water in Aug/Sept if there was good April/May Rain
If the light is in the right position its ok to shoot with the sun 30 mins up after sunrise

Lion roaring 2 kms away in broken Maroela Knobthorn Savannah..Sound getting closer ...SILENCE for 10 mins and then this appeared at Nkaya Pan
