These are the Livingstones Eland different from the Cape eland found in the E Cape and Drakensberg

On another occassion I found part of the Boyela Pride in the road at 05h00 one Dec after leaving Shingwedzi on my own lone car @ 04h30..Not another car came up or down the main Tar road H4-1 in 2 hours allowing me to immerse myself in pride life all around my car ..Imagine being able to do that on the H4-1//2

Nkaya Pan is my favorite watering point in the Satara area ..Light behind you in the early morning and good water in Aug/Sept if there was good April/May RainIf the light is in the right position its ok to shoot with the sun 30 mins up after sunrise

WE stayed at Satara for 18 days a couple of years ago to give the ladies electricity for a change after years of Tsendze and Balule..I went to Nkaya every morning apart from the days I did the H7 with the sun behind me..Awesome just sitting there watching the parrots drink in between sightings like this on my own in the SATARA area ..amazing !!!
