Lisbeth wrote: Tue Jul 02, 2019 3:38 pm Strange that you saw so few lions :-?

Nice puffy and bateleur \O
The last visit before this one I already noticed something was not correct in the Nossob area

Mel wrote: Tue Jul 02, 2019 6:44 pm Only 200 photos... well, I can relate to that as too 0-

5 km looks more like the way into the bush where the lioness was lying low lol 0*\

I like that springbok wading in the water shot! ^Q^
Mel not sure what has changed, but like I said I noticed on the last visit also, they keep clear in the day and hang around at the gate to the SP living quarters, After lights out about 23h00 onwards they start moving around and come to drink at the water hole. the whole dynamics of there movements has changed :-(
RogerFraser wrote: Tue Jul 02, 2019 7:27 pm \O Finally you found a flat Lion lol

Like the Springbok in the water \O
Thanks Roger, we nearly missed the dam thing as well =O: =O: =O:

Another lion \O When I was there in November 2017 there were actually lions all over the place ( kind of, "let's proceed it's only lions" lol ).

You managed to get a pic of the bat-eared fox ^Q^ ^Q^

Nice pics of the sandgrouses, all three of them and also the mouse \O

lol I know all about playing with those settings at night. Only, I do it all over every time again

Well, at least some lion... but I know how annoying it can get when they are always far off or with bushes inbetween.
Guess, we're spoiled for good sightings of them.

I'd go with the BEF though, even if it was running away.

Keep going with the small stuff. I find, when you appreciate that, the big things will meddle with you being busy with the little things ;-)
