The Kgalakgadi Puffadder Park!
Well done on the lion eventually, to calm the wife down...
I like the baby gemsbok, quite different!

thanks RP

More flat lions
Also like the baby
Alf if you have not seen a cat in 4 days you take what you get
Lisbeth wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 3:38 pm
Strange that you saw so few lions
Nice puffy and bateleur
The last visit before this one I already noticed something was not correct in the Nossob area
Flutterby wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 3:40 pm
Nice to see a baby gemsbok.
thanks Flutterby

Only 200 photos... well, I can relate to that as too
5 km looks more like the way into the bush where the lioness was lying low
I like that springbok wading in the water shot!
Mel not sure what has changed, but like I said I noticed on the last visit also, they keep clear in the day and hang around at the gate to the SP living quarters, After lights out about 23h00 onwards they start moving around and come to drink at the water hole. the whole dynamics of there movements has changed

Finally you found a flat Lion
Like the Springbok in the water
Thanks Roger, we nearly missed the dam thing as well

Another lion

When I was there in November 2017 there were actually lions all over the place ( kind of, "let's proceed it's only lions"

).
You managed to get a pic of the bat-eared fox
Nice pics of the sandgrouses, all three of them and also the mouse

I know all about playing with those settings at night. Only, I do it all over every time again
Well, at least some lion... but I know how annoying it can get when they are always far off or with bushes inbetween.
Guess, we're spoiled for good sightings of them.
I'd go with the BEF though, even if it was running away.
Keep going with the small stuff. I find, when you appreciate that, the big things will meddle with you being busy with the little things

You got a nice pic of the bat-eared foxes this time
I love the bustard all puffed up

Was there a female around?
The pic of the kudu "twins" is great
