I think the eyes are in the same position and it's the angle the picture is taken from that makes them look different, unfortunately no side-on shot on the site

On the Jumping Spider site this is the only one with the dark front and a cream band above the eyes that continues around the carapace. Your call Toko, you're the boss

Similar colours but the carapace is too wide. I don't think so.

The comments are quite interesting there as well, and certainly echo our own observations here concerning the current state of confusion when it comes to IDing of Salticids.

I'm with you Toko on this one, but I don't know anything about relevance of carapace width, except it would likely vary with the maturity of the spider and/or possibly its gender.
