Good luck, Flutty

Re: Garden Bird Pictures
After having had this nectar feeder up for about three weeks without any birds, all of a sudden it has come to life. Sorry about the terrible background.
White-bellied Sunbird by Joan.

And his wife by Joan.

Arguing over landing rights.

The smaller of the two gave up.

One Cape White-eye giving landing instructions to another.

Dark-capped Bulbul has his eye on the target.

Okay, its your turn now.

Another fast fly past to try and scare the weaver away.

Ok, that did not work, lets try from above.

Trying to land while another is still on the feeder.

Re: Garden Bird Pictures
This seems to have been lots of fun....
Super pics in flight..
I had my first sunbird in my Kempton garden - a white bellied one, but my camera, which is normally set up, was packed away with the renovations.
It is setup now and I am waiting for it's return.

You are so right. I could spend all day just watching the nectar feeder.

One thing I have learnt - take your camera with you wherever you go, even to the toilet. You never know what you might see.
Hope you get some great shots.

So jealous of the sunbirds and you got some great pics!
I glimpsed one at our nectar feeder a couple of weeks ago but it hasn't been back!
