This time I took the loop to the Napi rocks

I am still wondering how the two big "stones" ended up there :-?

I understand the name and the work the man did, but not why it has been put up in that place 0:

Two picturesque rollers ;-)

Image

Finally a small herd of Elephants! Until that moment I had only seen single males around. They were very spread out, but they did make up a breeding herd in all sizes :-)

This brown snake-eagle is only here because of the strange white feathers all over -O- It was a km away ;-) A juvenile -O-

Coming from the S65 and turning left towards Phabeni, there is a small waterhole, almost completely hidden, not very far away. You must know where it is ;-)

Today it was time for a warthog family. The mother was a bit confused and continued to go right and left a.s.o. not knowing which direction to take.

Can you see the pied kingfisher? ;-)

Also a couple of monkeys wanted a drink of that delicious brownish muddy water :O^

Mixed cattle. There were two tiny gnu calves, but two many legs around to be able to take a shot of them.

Image

Like the other dams, Nyamundwa was no exception........just about nada 0*\

White-faced ducks

White-faced ducks with crocodile and other winged creatures

Common greenshank

A cattle egret preening

The end for today is three/four rows of "mountain" chains. I kind of like that view

Until next time 0/*

A very kind thought, but I'm afraid it would not be sufficiently appreciated O** lol

lol lol My SO and I also comment about the strange configuration of some of the stones/rocks when we visit. I really would like to know the answer - probably something any geologist could easily explain. :-?

Poor lil' wattled lapwing - looks too young to be all alone :-( . That is one fat warthog (pregnant?) - also never saw one w/ oxpeckers O:V :-0

Have fun tomorrow! 0/0

(What's that stupid gray line under my post? weird -O- )

No grey line, Ex! lol

I think the stones are from very ancient volcanic eruptions/plugs.

The surrounding soil has been eroded away? -O-
