There were only a few cars there and after the other cars left

the lions woke up

With the gates closing at 18h30, we timed our return to Croc Bridge for a leisurely cruise back.

That was when we got the WhatsApp from a friend in the park that being the 1st of March, the gates now closed at 18h00 !! There was no way we could make it back on time, so we did out best to stay at 40km/h, no wonder all the other cars had left us at the lion sighting $0*\$

We got a last pic of the Jackal on the S25.

On reaching the gate at 18h10, we explained the situation to the guys and they understood our problem with the switch over of gate times. I am sure they have experienced this before. We left the park and it had been a great but short 3-day break for the family.
