I found this harrier-hawk just before Tshokwane!

This impressive tusker was on the S128.

We found a nice ellie herd at the little loop on the S30 with the big rock that everyone forgets.

With nothing else to detain us, we got to Skukuza and checked in. I then wiped out hard on the highly polished stones outside the reception door, which caused a number of people to turn around to look at me! The Brat tried to show concern while trying not to laugh! Luckily, nothing was broken or bruised, just my ego.

Hi Lis, there's a little loop/viewpoint on the S30 that has a large rock in the sand. Many people don't see it or forget that it's there and then drive over it, either getting stuck on it or badly scratching the underside of the car.

For our afternoon drive we headed down the H4-1, across the high-level bridge, and back on the H1-2, taking the Maroela loop on the way, but it was very quiet.

We got back to camp feeling quite deflated as we had seen no cats all day, and broken our record of seeing a leopard every day. Our bungalow was one row behind the perimeter units and after dinner, the Brat suggested we take a walk along the fence. There were some other people at the fence and as we approached we heard one of them say, 'There's a leopard!' We immediately saw it in their torchlight, walking right next to the fence!! We walked along the fence with the leopard for a few seconds before it ducked back into the thick bush. Unfortunately, we didn't have a camera with us, so no proof, but our leopard record remained intact!!
