Naturally, our prize winner got to choose the accommodation that would suit him best and the support crew moved into their choise of abode for the weekend. Sprocky was so busy with getting the fire going that he ended up in the furtherest tent, however it is the one with the superb view of the river. To get there, you need to negotiate a wooden walkway, but it is probably the best site in the camp.
We chilled out around the superb fire listening to night sounds and queitly solving the problems of the world when Cadbury informed us that he could not find the 2 flatty chickens we had brought for supper. This caused a bit of a stir because I knew they were in the bag with the rest of the meat. Eventualy...problem solved, they were exactly where they had been put and were right in front of Cadbury's eyes in the freezer. This should have been his second warning, but we kept quiet about it so the Master wouldn't climb into him again. Maybe we sensed that he was to be seriously wounded the next day.
A rather serious discussion followed to ascertain who would cook the flatties and it was unanimously decided that since the Sprocman had done such a good job of the fire, he should have the honours. Cadbury disapeared into the kitchen (which does have a microwave) to work his magic on a bag of potatoes. The task of entertaining the master was left to me, one I thoroughly enjoyed as Cadbury was extremely attentive in his second role of barman.
