The swallows in flight are exceptional as they are not the easiest little birds to capture in mid air.

One of the sandpiper family.


A pronking springbuck.




A trotting springbuck. We just love the way these guys trot along with heads held high. Caught this one with all four feet off the ground.


Black-winged stilt.


Juvenile fish eagle in the late afternoon sun.


Back at camp we had another amazing braai with the "Africa Wild Bunch". Friendship and fellowship was the order of the evening.

Back at our chalet we were welcomed home by this fairly large stick insect.
