Back on the highway towards Letaba I had a strange encounter with a mad elephant. I thought it was an anxious mother, but looking at the pic it seems more like a bull in musth.

I had hardly slowed down when the ellie started the whole scene with a flying tusk, headshaking and flapping ears and trumpeting matched by the rest of the small herd. The leader started to move and in a jiffy, they were all in the middle of the road.........I was not there anymore though ^0^

At Nhlanganini Dam

A brown snake-eagle very, very, very far way. In fact only when I loaded the pic on the laptop I could see what it was. Maybe I should have left it where it was 0*\

At Letaba I went right away to do what I had come for: To see the Elephant Hall.

Those tusks are so very impressive and the photos do not do them justice as there is nothing to compare them with. The mere size of some of them almost knock you over  O-/

The trip home must have been completely void of life, because I do not even have a pic of a flower :-?

I’m not a fan of the revamped museum. The previous displays showed how enormous those elephants were.

Aaah i just love that view from the restaurant
