Still not right, as I was told it was 700 and something in KNP up to yesterday morning. The person that told me had just come out of a meeting regarding the poaching. ;-)

TWENTY rhino in one week in KNP - they have lost the plot and with the deteriorating situation in Mozambique it can only get worse. Zuma needs to catch a big wake up if they are not going to make right royal fools of themselves whilst the rest of the world is mobilising and even offering financial incentives to bust these huge syndicates.

I don't know if the figures should be taken so literally on a weekly or daily basis, as carcasses found may be older than that. But the signs are not good. The troubles in Moz. will certainly be used as an excuse, but most of those troubles are quite far north, away from Kruger's high-density rhino areas at the moment... :-?

Au contraire my dear RP.
The figures I post have to be taken very seriously on even a daily basis.
When I post a new number and it is from a carcass that is older than a day I always say that too.

The only numbers we do not have an insight in are the DEA updates.
They never say how many, where and when.

Hmmm..... Sprock . Maybe it includes the private reserves around KNP . As you know , Sanparks do not like to " officially " reveal , or discuss anything that does not happen inside their own kitchen O**
