I have a cuckoo, which I think is a euro-cuckoo, just because it was silent, but the photo is too poor to see the beak properly, but I think it has a black tip to the beak.

But my cuckoo does not have one dark mandible. Upper and lower ones are pale with dark tip only. But that's more immagination than what you can see. =O:
