Gavin, it cannot be a pygmy falcon, it looks completely different and is much smaller

Love the interaction with the Cobra and Squirel .
Well spotted with the Leopard .
It is the one major problem when you are towing and finding a traffic jam there is little chance to see anything

Our spotted encounters for the day were not quite yet over.
Just before reaching the Kalahari Tented Camp turn off, we spotted this cheetah walking along the dunes to the right
(seen on 29 October at 12h20 just south of KTC)
She was going in the opposite direction to ourselves which posed a trailer problem again, but this time, with no other cars around we were able to at least get some photos of her before she disappeared down a dune into the riverbed below.
Given the trailer behind us and the very sandy condition of the road, we thought better of trying to reverse and follow her, so we carried on to Mata Mata

We booked in and managed to get a nice shady campsite quite high up nearer to the shop.
It was a bit far from the fence, but we were happy
