Update:The remote camps and gravel roads which are temporarily closed are as follows:
Nyalaland Wilderness Trail
Sirheni Bush Camp
Bateleur Bush Camp (only accessible via Nkokodzi turn-off)
Balule Camp
Talamati Bush Camp
Pafuri Gate
Tshokwane & Muzandzeni Picnic Sites @SANParks

Sand River low water bridge inaccessible .All gravel roads in the Nxanatseni (north) Region of the Park from Pafuri to Letaba will be closed; with exception of Giriyondo gravel road as it will be operational but monitored closely and a few others depending on the developments.

FBI post :PLEASE NOTE: *R536 Hazyview - Paul Kruger Gate*
Please note that a planned march will take place tomorrow 13 Feb starting at 07:00 in Mkhuhlu area which may affect traffic to Paul Kruger Gate. SANParks recommends that Phabeni and Numbi Gates be used as alternative access and exit from the Park.

Who goes to Kruger at this time of the year anyway ..Tar roads and high bridges only ..what a waste of Petrol Money ..Aug /Sept or wait till the following year Aug/Sept = Bushveld time

Don't really agree with this
People go to Kruger at different times of the year for various reasons - work commitments, family commitments etc.
There were a few years when for various reasons, I could only go over the Festive Season. Not an ideal time, but had to take the opportunity as it was.
My last trip to Kruger was March 2019. Grass was very high in places. Bush was thick. Not ideal game viewing conditions. But once again, that was when I could travel

Understand ..we also go sometimes in Summer for birds ....but generally end of winter is our best time and April Month Kgalagadi before the frosts

UPDATE 15 February 2020:
Pafuri gate open.
Sand River low water bridge open.
The following roads have been opened: S114, S139, S116, S119, S112, S23, S120, S110, S121, S118, S22, S28, S79 and S82

UPDATE 16 February 2020: North Roads:
S140 still closed, to reach Talamati camp go via S36.
Shireni access road is open.
Far North Region:
The S64 and half of S56 are still closed, the other roads are open.
Marula Region: S147, S69, S62, S145, S125, S126, S39 & S48 still closed.
