Kruger Sightings

August 2018
As we entered S100, we were the only ones on that road, along with plenty of antelopes and a herd of elephants. This huge male walks onto the road in front of us. We stopped, and the oak stopped too, right next to our driver seat door.

The S100 at gate opening is a DISASTER of Streams of FAST cars ..a Dust cloud to make Australian Bushfires really jealous and scattering in all directions of terrified Big & Hairies ..We decided to come back to Tamboti after a late brunch going via the dreaded S100 at midday ..worst possible light ..No cars , No Lions ..just us and this beauty which posed for me against a backdrop of the River Forest which 500mm @ F4 blew out beautifully ..Pretty bird and just as beautiful as famous S100 lions. because of his colours he deserves a click

A roller without a crowd is much better than a cat with a crowd. Lovely photo
